FoodPanda is launched in 2002 and it is a food delivery Mobile Application operating in 40 countries. The company was founded by Benjamin Bauer, Felix Plog And Rohit Chadda, headquarters in Berlin, Germany. The parent company of FoodPanda is Delivery Hero, publicly listed online food-delivery service company based in Germany. Delivery hero acquired FoodPanda on December 2016. FoodPanda helps customers order food from various local restaurants and deliver the same to their addresses. Other than the FoodPanda application, customers can also place an order via its official website. On December 2017, Ola, the Indian cab-aggregator, acquired Foodpanda's Indian business. 

One can order a variety of food sitting in the comfort of their home, by using the mobile application of Foodpanda. You just have to select the food you want to eat, pick the restaurant and make payments. Foodpanda will directly send your order to the partnered restaurant, pick-up your meal and deliver the same to your place. As it is a food-delivery mobile application partnered with the local restaurants the options you get the menu are countless. Foodpanda was initially founded by Lukas Nagel and Rico Wyder in 2012. It was established in South-East Asia covering and the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. In late 2016, FoodPanda sold its Delivery Club business for $100 million to mail.ru in Russia. And that is how a German company called Delivery Hero acquires FoodPanda. The company has more than 27,095 restaurants serving in 193 cities and works with approximately 15,733 delivery riders.
