The International Institute of Information Technology, a Deemed University, popularly called IIIT-B, has been set in 1999 with a vision to bring about the IT world by focusing on research and education, innovation and entrepreneurship. The Institute is a documented non-profit society financed jointly by the Government of Karnataka and the IT business. Since its beginning, IIIT-B, using its distinctive version of instruction, research, and business interaction, has grown in stature to become an establishment of substantial repute in academic in addition to corporate circles. The Institute operates in partnership with the corporate business while preserving the freedom of an academic institution. It's motivated by other renowned institutions, and strives to emulate an academic culture that's on par with the very best global associations.
