ABB’s internships are designed to offer guidance and experience with numerous technologies in the field of power and automation. Interns will work on various projects, including business units and the engineering centers at the Corporate Research Center.
Interns receive on-the-job training in energy and automation technologies and are mentored by experienced supervisors and experts. They conduct website visits and learn from the customer’s point of view the importance of good business ethics and code of conduct.
This internship provides exposure to a dynamic and fast-paced multinational work environment. Interns who exhibit exceptional growth may be considered for permanent roles upon commencement and are eligible to be interviewed for our Graduate Engineer Program.
Bachelor of Engineering/Technology: Students in their third year can apply for internship. The program includes up to 12 weeks of study followed by a four to six months of term project in the students’ final year.
Master of Engineering/Technology: Students can spend up to three months in the summer of their first year to present a detailed project / thesis proposal that can be pursued through their second year.
Doctorate: Students are encouraged to develop an affiliation with relevant experts in ABB, seek their continuous guidance as industry specialists. They also can spend 3-6 months at ABB on multiple occasions during their PhD program.
