Established in 2006 under the Food Safety & Standards Act, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) works under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. It is an independent statutory body responsible for food standards and safety precautions in India. FSSAI provides internships to eligible candidates each June. Internships are offered to students pursuing Graduate, Post-Graduate, or Research degrees. During the internship program, interns will get exposure to health and family welfare and will learn about the rules and regulations related to food safety and standards followed in India.
Candidate should be pursuing a Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in the field of Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Business Administration, Management, Food Technology, Microbiology, Media & Communications, Veterinary Sciences, or Agricultural Sciences from a recognized institution, college, or university
