The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has developed an internship programme for eligible candidates throughout India. The internship is specifically for the Postgraduate or PhD, Mathematical Statistics, Statistics, Economics, Demography, Operations Research, or any of the applied fields of Statistics. This paid internship lasts a period of 2 months. The internship will be available at multiple locations (Group A and Group B) and applicants may select their desired location when they complete their application. This internship will allow participants to become familiar with the prevailing system of Official Statistics in India.
